30th Reunion

Reunion Information

YOU’RE INVITED:    Join your Riverside Poly Class of 1981 classmates for our 30th Reunion on Saturday, June 30, 2012.  Bring your spouse or guest, or just come yourself.  This special event will take place at the Arroyo Vista Cafe in UCR's new Alumni Center on Canyon Crest Drive, with a reception beginning at 7:00 pm and dinner to follow at 8:00 pm.

REUNION FOCUS:  For our 30th reunion, emphasis is on reconnection with old friends and classmates and creating a fun and casual environment where that can occur.  No speeches, presentations, shows, games, or exhibits -- just a stress-free evening with old friends, reminiscing and catching up with each other.  Please note that the reunion is just for classmates and their adult guests.  Please do not bring children.

THEME AND ATTIRE:  The theme "POLY-NESIA!" is a playful green and orange nod to Hawaiiana, so -- just for fun – wear a Hawaiian-print dress or shirt, floral prints, tropical wear, or whatever comfortable beach-y attire makes you happy.  The emphasis is on fun, comfortable, and casual and your own creativity can be your guide.  Dinner seating is outdoors, so while August evenings in Riverside are warm, bring a jacket or sweater in case the evening turns cool. Ladies -- please note that outdoor seating includes a grassy area so a non-stiletto heel is recommended.

FRIDAY NIGHT:   On Friday, June 29, 2012, classmates already in town will gather informally after 8:00 pm at the Mission Inn for socializing and no-host refreshments. 

SATURDAY GOLF OUTING:  On Saturday morning, June 30th, we'll hold a golf tournament.  More details to follow.
